  1. Absolutely stellar post! Well done! Ah, I see Toronto has surpassed Chicago in population. I agree with everything in your list! But I must say that living here in Chicago makes me realize this place does have the best pizza on the planet! However, Toronto is a gem indeed. Cher xo

  2. Thanks for the fun and pictures. I lived in Toronto during the mid 80s and if not for the icy cold would not have left to go back to AZ, USA.

  3. In 1985 I was on the Canadian side of Niagara Falls(the falls were frozen solid) and visited Vancouver. What a refreshingly clean and well kept city and the people were ever so friendly. I have always wished to visit Nova Scotia and live there part of the year perhaps. Thanks visit my blog.

  4. Wow, what a post! Thank you for following WordBowlbyMsCharlieS.com and introducing me to your site — EXCELLENT reasons to book a trip (or contemplate a move) to Toronto…

  5. What a great post – after the winter we’ve had, it’s too easy to forget the good things sometimes. Thanks for the reminder! (And beautiful photos – are they all your own photography?)

  6. This post is unfair, very unfair because it’s making me miss Toronto in a major way. As for cities in the world, Toronto is my first love and having moved to Chicago from Toronto I’m gonna have to request that you modify #2 to be gentle to me and my homesickness. Hahahaha. All in all, the whole post is spot on.
